Allow me to offer you a heartfelt welcome to my BeTheAngel website! I'm excited to share with you my extensive Angel collection, hoping that the images will resonate within you.
As all the angels are unique, so will be your experience. Some may evoke a spiritual connection, while others bring comfort and peace in difficult times. For me personally, they represent goodness and reaching higher and deeper within ourselves to make the world a better place.
It is my sincere belief that we can all be an angel to one another, so I have created a way that you can send free postcards to people you love and those who may need encouragement.
If you fall in love with other images and want something for yourself, I offer angel cards, prints, notebooks, artwork, paper transfers and more.
This has been a project in the making for a long time. Eight years ago, I thought it would be nice to have an angel painting giveaway at Christmas to people that were nominated who need spiritual uplifting. Little did I know how it would catch on and how many lives would be touched. The stories of the recipients and what a difference it made to have an angel show up on their doorstep came flooding back to me. The outpouring of appreciation ignited a passion within me to keep offering hope and remind people that we are never alone.
Each angel painting is inspired from the love of my family, faith and personal journey as an artist. Life is precious and I believe in the power of 'paying it forward' and that we can change the world through acts of kindness. With all the darkness in today's world, I am committed to bringing light and helping others to spread it as well.Enjoy these Angels of Light and spread the hope!
Why I paint angels.
About the Artist
Thomas Andrew Findlay was born in Miami, Florida in 1967 but moved to Mountain Brook, Alabama at age 8 when his parents divorced. He is the middle of three sons and attended Auburn University where he studied computer graphics. After graduation, Tom moved to South Carolina to become the Art Director for Conso Products International.
Tom is a self-taught painter and began painting full-time in 2004. He quickly became known for his dramatic angelic figures. In 2007, Tom started creating images based on the American landscape, which was inspired by the time he spent in Colorado as a young man. His artwork has been collected by patrons and corporations throughout the world, most notably Coca-Cola. Moreover, his style is visually unique as he blends acrylics, oil stains, inks and pastes onto wooden panels with a combination of palette knife and brush.
